Impressive Seerat Programme held in Srinagar

Srinagar, April 17 (Mirwaiz Manzil): An impressive Seerat Programme on the life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was today held at historical Educational Institute Nusrat-ul-Islam Higher Secondary School Srinagar. The function was chaired by All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman and the president of Anjuman Nasratul Islam Mirwaiz Dr Molvi Muhammad Umar Farooq.
The function was attended by dozens of students belonging to various Educational Institutes of the Valley. Students from Green Land School, Bilalaliya Educations Institute, Muslim Public School, Islamia High School Bota Kadal, Green Valley Educationa
The first position was bagged by the student of Bilaliya Institute Ahmad Mustafa, whereas Haroon Ahmad from R.P School and Qayooma Aslam from Muslim Public School bagged second and third positions respectively.
Meanwhile a student from Bilaliya namely Kubra was given a special Award.
Speaking on the occasion, Mirwaiz Dr Molvi Umar Farooq said the path shown to the Muslim Ummah by our beloved Nabi (SAW) is the only guarantee for the prosperity and progress of mankind.
While terming Islam as the complete way of life, Mirwaiz stated that along with other responsibilities in Islam, a Muslim should find all the solutions within the Islamic jurisprudence rather than looking in to the others religion.
Mirwaiz said despite a Muslim majority and a land of Saints and Awliyas, a large number of youth of the Valley nowadays unfortunately have got entangled in the menace of Drugs and waywardness.
Mirwaiz said the need of the hour is to get united to fight immoralities within our society. Appealing parents for their support towards the anti-immorality drive Mirwaiz said parents should also come forward and should keep an eye on their wards. 
l Institute, Burn Hall, Islamia Higher Secondary School Rajouri Kadal, Islamia Higher Secondary School Islamabad, R.P School, Islamia High School Safa Kadal, M.I.A Pampore and others schools participated in the debate competition held on the life of beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
